Krishnamurti: The Best Class You Will Ever Take on Meditation
Topics include: Meditation, how it works and why common methods of meditation should never be practiced. 1) 24-hour-a-day meditation that does not interfere with other activity. No breath focusing. No mantra. No visualization. No subconscious influence. Straight talk and no bull. We will make sense where others don’t and will show you meditation that will leave Buddhism in the dust. 2) Stop conflict and confusion in the mind anytime, anywhere, without effort or idea. 3) The stopping of any habit without effort or escape. 4) The transformation of the mind. 5) The transformation of pain. 6) The clearing of perception. This time it’s the real thing. We will not waste your time. We will do meditation in class. Later, we will watch a film about Krishnamurti—the 60-year career of the most unique and powerful religious teacher in the world. Too strong for television. The serious truth seeker should never miss it. Free classic CD and more

Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
Interested in mindfulness meditation but not sure where to start? Come find out what it is, how it can benefit you and how to do it. By the end of the class, you will know how to do a basic Unified Mindfulness meditation technique and have tips on how to use it in daily life. Unified Mindfulness is a secular practice that won't conflict with a faith you practice, and it won’t ask people who are not religious to take up a faith. Convener has practiced Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), hatha yoga, and vipassana meditation since 1998, and Unified Mindfulness since 2015.

World Labyrinth Day
This class provides an introduction to labyrinths and World Labyrinth Day, celebrated annually on the first Saturday of May. A labyrinth is a winding path that leads from its entrance, around and around to the center, then back out the same way. Labyrinths are an ancient archetype that originated 4,000 or more years ago. New recognition and appreciation of the meditative, healing, and spiritual benefits of “walking a labyrinth” resulted in thousands of labyrinths in the US and over 25 in the metro area. Class participants will walk two different local labyrinths. Please bring $2.00 to class for handouts.
