Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
Interested in mindfulness meditation but not sure where to start? Come find out what it is, how it can benefit you, and how to do it. By the end of the class, you will know how to do a basic Unified Mindfulness meditation technique and have tips on how to use it in daily life. Unified Mindfulness is a secular practice that won't conflict with a faith you practice, and it won’t ask people who are not religious to take up a faith. Convener has practiced Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), hatha yoga, and vipassana meditation since 1998, and Unified Mindfulness since 2015.

In this one session class you will learn this simple technique that can change your life. This class is based upon the work of Jon Kabat-Zin of the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
